About
Wensleyfield is a local information archive covering Singapore's Park Connector Network. The site documents PCN routes with notes on surface conditions, water point locations, path widths, access points, and pedestrian density at different times. Content is based on path surveys conducted between 2023 and the present.
What this archive covers
The Park Connector Network spans more than 300 km of paths across Singapore, linking parks, housing estates, reservoirs, and waterfronts. Individual connectors vary substantially in width, surface quality, shade coverage, and permitted activities. This archive focuses on three things:
- Route descriptions with enough granularity to be useful for planning specific activities — running, cycling, or inline skating
- Practical logistics: water points, toilet facilities, MRT access, car parks, and bike storage
- Condition notes that reflect actual path state rather than official NParks descriptions, which sometimes lag behind recent resurfacing or damage
The archive does not cover every PCN connector. Routes are selected on the basis of either high usage by local residents or particular route-planning value — connectors that serve as useful links between better-known segments.

Corrections and updates
Path conditions change. Resurfacing projects, temporary closures, new connector sections, and changes to permitted activities on specific paths all affect the accuracy of route information over time. If you notice a discrepancy between what is described here and current conditions on any of the covered routes, send a note to editor@wensleyfield.com with the route name, the specific section, and what you observed. Updates are generally reflected within two weeks of receiving a correction.
